Second Sunday of Advent

Throughout the scriptures, we see the personality of God revealed. Seen through the gifts He continued to give in the Old Testament and finally giving His son, Jesus, He shows what a loving Father He truly is.

From this viewpoint, one can look back on their own lives and reflect on the many gifts God has given. In wonder and awe, Jesus delighted in the things given from the Father. Through our childlikeness, we too delight in His gifts and turn from the disordered view of being in fear of the Father.
