Twenty-Fifth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Sep 21, 2025 • Fr. Alec Sasse
Following the recent death of Charlie Kirk, the divisions, fractures, and hatred in our world is on full display. But Hate can never be a medicine - it's always a poison.
Jesus called together two very different people - Matthew the Tax Collector & Simon the Zealot - and taught them who the real enemy is: sin, evil, and the devil.
St. Paul encourages Timothy (both of whom are persecuted by Rome) to pray for those in authority and for those who persecute us.
Finally, St. Therese offers us a beautiful example of praying for those most entrapped in evil.
