3rd Sunday of Ordinary Time

What if your life was demanded of you today? Jesus is standing in front of you and promises to take you to His Father's house, to eternal joy. Is there anything that you feel like you need to do or grab before you can go? It's those parts of our heart that still need to be given over to God. We so often feel like if we can just hold onto the things in our life, then we will be able to love them best, but the truth is that we can only love things fully if we give them over to Jesus completely. Otherwise the things that are holding onto us will actually kill us.
