2nd Sunday of Lent

In His Transfiguration, Jesus pulls back the veil to reveal his glory and divinity to His disciples. The experience instills a deep trust and hope in who He is, but it is about more than just that. It asks questions about our identity as disciples of Christ. What do we want to be? What are we called to be?

When we truly encounter Jesus, what we set our eyes on shifts. We set our eyes on Him and His invitations for our lives. The deepest invitation is the invitation for our hearts to be transformed into His own.

The call of Jesus is to be one with God. His Glory is for all of us. Resurrection power is for all of us. We enter into this transformation by embracing trust: a trust that brings peace, glory and real communion with Christ.
