The Feast of the Presentation of the Lord

The Israelites long awaited the return of the presence of God. It came in an unexpected way: in Jesus Christ as a baby. As Christians, the presence of God lives within us. We are called to receive the light of Christ, share the Light of Christ, and to become the Light of Christ.

St. Maximillian Kolbe led a life that exuded the light of Christ so much so that he became the light of Christ. By virtue of our Baptism, this is a reality for us as well!
