Having Christ as King means that His sovereignty reigns over every part of our story.

Jesus' kingship is radically different than the kingship of the world. He is crowned with thorns and reigns from the throne of the cross.

To know what it means having a king like this means we look to the lives of the saints who cried out with every fiber of their being, "Long live Christ the King."
