Twenty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time

What is glory? Deep down, every human heart longs for it. The world tells us glory is found in achievement, but Scripture shows us something different. Jesus says glory is the Father’s love—love that gives life to our souls and meaning to our lives.

At the Last Supper, Jesus gave His apostles this glory, not as a reward but as a gift of union with the Father. God’s desire is that we may be one—with Him and with one another. To live in glory is to recognize that every person carries the Father’s love within them.

On campus, the message often is: you matter if you achieve. But here, in this place, the message is different: you matter because you bear the glory of the Father within you. All we do as a community is to help one another believe in that truth—that the Father’s love lives deep inside of us.
