Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time
The Father is the One who speaks our identity. From the moment our life began, He has been gazing upon us with great love.
At the moment in the Gospel, Jesus looks into the souls of those who are experiencing exactly what He is describing . They are filled with warmth and hope that their Father sees them in places others do not.
The Father sees you. He calls you His son, His daughter. He sees what you are going through. Listen to His response to our ache, He threaded it into the Gospel.
"...for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
...for they will be comforted.
...for they will inherit the land.
...for they will be satisfied.
...for they will be shown mercy.
...for they will see God.
...for they will be called children of God.
...for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
...for your reward will be great in heaven."
