Fourth Sunday of Advent

Saint John Paul ll was a man who seemed fearless, yet had a life where he encountered many real fears. In his most famous words, 'do not be afraid' we hear the Holy Spirit speaking.

Saint Joseph was a man who experienced fear as well, yet chose to invite Mary and Jesus into his home. The angel speaks the words 'do not be afraid' encouraging him to accept what the Father wants to give him.

Jesus came to dispel fear from our lives, for who would be afraid of a baby. May the Father, the One who loves and cares for us deeply, speak those words of truth to our hearts. May the grace from the Infant Jesus overwhelm our hearts with peace and cast out all fear.
