As Jesus prayed on the Mount of Olives at the end of the Gospel reading, He would have been able to see Judas leading those who would arrest Him. He had the perfect opportunity to run away; to escape. Yet, He did not.
He is the God who stays.
He is the God who stays with you in your brokenness, sin and shame. There is no part of you that would cause Him to run away. In fact, in response to these places in your life and story, He offers Himself completely as gift to you.
Invite Jesus into these places of your heart that you fear would cause Him to run. Allow Him to transform your story with his constancy, steadfast love and His radical gift of self.
