3rd Sunday of Ordinary Time

When Jesus comes to us today and invites us to repentance, it's not because he can't stand to be in our presence when we are covered by sin, but because he knows fully what we are made to be. We are made for fullness of life, not less and sin ALWAYS makes us less. Less than what we are created to be, less human, less happy, less able to love. So today, let us turn back toward the Lord and the fullness of life that He promises us.
