These readings today carry so much hope because we all know the wounds that pride has inflicted on our hearts and our lives, yet the gift that Jesus gives us is that he redeems us through humility, the antidote to pride. Today we are invited to imitate St. Therese in her littleness, in her joy, that came through her deep humility and desire to be like her savior, Jesus.
