Feast of the Immaculate Conception

This feast day is a beautiful celebration of purity, but so often we feel as though we have been disqualified from experiencing the grace of a pure life. Sometimes that's because of what we've done or what's been done to us. But the reality of this feast is that Mary gives us hope. What Mary experiences is what is promised to all of us. We are made for purity of body, mind, and heart, and God longs to restore us to that beautiful destiny. If we answer when he calls out to us, we can be assured that we will one day experience the fullness of that redemption and live forever in purity.
